I was inspired to work with this design again by a recent customer request. Around this time last year I made the original pair similar to these with the trillion shape that I love, adding the elongated arch elements, and cutting away the interior to play with positive/negative space. The result reminds me of a stylistic stingray. Round gemstones are bezel set at the bottom. These two pairs feature a hand tooled stippled surface texture and

• The larger pair features 5mm smooth moonstones and measure 2” tall by 3/4” wide

• The smaller pair measure 1 1/2” tall by 5/8” wide and feature 5mm smooth Ethiopian opal.*

*Note: Some opals are porous and can absorb water if submerged or repeatedly wet. This may cause the colored flash that you love to go dull. It’s best not to wear opals in the shower, tub, or while swimming. If stones do become wet, dry off as soon as possible to preserve the color flash.
